This Homemade Herby Ranch Dressing is full of fresh herbs, balanced in flavor, and easy to make at home. Use it as a dressing for salads or as a dip for veggies!
Add the ranch ingredients to a high-sided container.
⅔ cup sour cream, ½ cup mayonnaise, ⅛ tsp sugar, 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice, ½ cup chopped fresh parsley, 2 tbsp diced fresh chives, 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill, ½ tsp sea salt, ½ tsp cracked black pepper
Using an immersion blender, blend up the dressing until it’s smooth. You could use a countertop or personal blender or a food processor (the latter won't blend it up as well, though).
Serve as a dip with fresh vegetables, chips, or wings, or toss it with lettuce and your favorite salad ingredients for a fresh and delicious meal option.
Notes
Add a splash of milk if it seems to thick, but we find we don't usually need this.
If you want it a touch less tangy, you can add a little more sugar (up to 1/4 tsp total) for balance.
