Ingredients

Fig Syrup

  • 2 cups fresh figs, chopped (about 5-7 large figs)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp whole cloves

Cocktail (Single Serving)

  • 3 fl oz Scotch whisky, can also use Irish whiskey
  • 3 fl oz fig syrup, or less, if you prefer less sweet
  • 1 ½ fl oz lemon juice
  • Sparkling water, to top
  • Crushed ice
  • Fig slices, for garnish
