Fig Syrup
- 2 cups fresh figs, chopped (about 5-7 large figs)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp whole cloves
Cocktail (Single Serving)
- 3 fl oz Scotch whisky, can also use Irish whiskey
- 3 fl oz fig syrup, or less, if you prefer less sweet
- 1 ½ fl oz lemon juice
- Sparkling water, to top
- Crushed ice
- Fig slices, for garnish
