Who's ready to lighten things up now that it's Jan Who's ready to lighten things up now that it's January? Salads don't have to be boring and they don't have to sacrifice flavor. This grain salad uses 10-minute farro to make things easier, and pomegranates, feta, red onion, and kale for flavor and nutrition. Toss it all with a mint vinaigrette for extra freshness.

January 1st always brings a fresh start. While we January 1st always brings a fresh start. While we don't have any formal resolutions this year, we do want to focus on a few things to help us grow as individuals and as recipe creators. Here's our list of ins and outs for 2026! 

Ins: 
- celebrate wins, even if they're small.
- take more pictures of moments and memories.
- focus on building a community. 
- keep learning. 
- wear aprons not to stop ruining our clothes (this has happened too many times)!
- get back to pen and paper.
- be more spontaneous. 
- get outside more. 
- trust our own style. 

Outs: 
- comparing ourselves to other people.
- imposter syndrome.
- going to bed too late. 
- taking criticism too personally. 
- grocery shopping while hungry.
- worrying about follower/view count.
- excessive screen time.
- overthinking things (or everything). 
- perfectionism.

That’s a wrap! 2025 hasn’t always been the easies That’s a wrap!

2025 hasn’t always been the easiest year, but we’ve made some big accomplishments! Here are some of the highlights:

•    Designed and launched our own website for our recipes (check the link in our profile to see).
•    Posted almost 100 recipes.
•    Worked on building communities on multiple platforms.
•    Entered a couple recipes into the county fair (and won 3rd place!).
•    Dedicated time to learn new techniques to make us better cooks and bloggers.

We’re excited to keep learning and see what 2026 will bring. Thanks for being here!
